Rajesh (Prasanna) and Gayathri (Sandhya), close pals, running away from home, when Gayathri’s parents force her to marry RK, who was supposedly the bride groom of Gayathri’s elder sister. RK, who falls for Gayathri, plays some dirty trick to avoid her sister and creates a situation where the parents of the girls come forward to marry the younger one to him.
But Gayathri has other plans and of course desires. She runs away with Rajesh but they don’t get married even after they reach a safe place after some gravity defying fights and lot of traveling. Director brings a twist in the tale. Both of them start searching for Bala, an artist, who is Gayathri’s lover. Yes. Rajesh is just her best friend and not lover.
Rajesh tries hard and finds Bala in a bizarre situation. Later, he saves Bala’s life at the risk of his own life. Gayathri, however, refuses to accept his sacrifice and she comes forward to sacrifice her love to save his friend. The climax tells you whose sacrifice wins.
